Looks like Todd Oldham, the new Creative Director of Old Navy, has been a busy, busy bee! He’s looking to change Old Navy from a family brand to a go-to place for the twenty-something crowd.

Officially, Oldham’s influence isn’t supposed to be noticed until around June, but I, for one, am noticing it already.

After being away from LFW for two seasons in a row, Emma Cook made a comeback that was much anticipated. Champagne and canapés were served prior to the show courtesy of Topshop and everyone was feeling bubbly and excited to see what Emma had cooked up (no pun intended).

Just as it was all about to kick off a photographer screamed “Get your bag off the catwalk”, everyone turned, only to discover the culprit was an embarrassed Philip Green (Topshop boss)…cringe!

So the question is did the collection disappoint? Not at all. It was filled lots of wearable pieces that were bang on trend such as tie dye vinyl dresses (and tights), capes, skirts with swirly stiff hemlines and lace dresses that featured our recent obsession - stars.

Fringed collars and an abundance of tassels hinted at a slight country and western influence. To close, a model stormed the runway in a gorgeous gold dress, perfect for party season.

After taking a bit of a disco-nap, Calvin Klein is bringing back his unfussy, simple line: ck Calvin Klein.

Who else would better be able to blast out the season’s basics. Tons of pencil skirts and silks all with Calvin-ish flair.

Apparel for ck Calvin Klein will launch in the U.S. in the spring 2008, and be supported with a regional ad campaign. Models Ali Stephens and Laurent Albucher, who were shot by David Sims. So keep a look out for the ck ads we knew and loved.
